This tool helps recover mail data from damaged Outlook files on a Mac.
Mac based Outlook tool uses OLM formatted data. There are several ways this data may get corrupted. These include natural calamity, virus attack, system failure etc. Once simple approach possible is to recover the data and store the stuff in EML format. The EML format is used by several popular email clients, so that the recovered mails could easily be read in any one of these you prefer. These include the Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, etc. The EML file can be easily dragged and dropped into DBX folder of the email client. The destination filename for the converted file could be chosen by you unless you want to use the default. The trial version will only recover and convert the first 50 files for free. Beyond that you are going to need a paid license.
The tool can handle all the kinds of mail folders, the types of mail data such as calendar, appointments and others as well as all the mail elements such as addressee, CC, BCC and so on. The interface is simple, straightforward and intuitive. Files can be simply dragged and dropped. Only a few settings are required and the process is a single click operation. You get a completed message via a pop-up. This is a good product and is worth a try if you have a need for this kind of a solution.
